The FARM ECOS project (2017-2021) will identify and outline the evidence base for novel, cost-effective measures to protect and enhance farmland biodiversity. Identified measures will increase habitat quantity, enhance habitat quality and improve ecological connectivity, from the farm to landscape scale. Measures will thus help halt biodiversity loss and enhance the provision of ecosystem services. The project is conducted by GMIT (ARD group) in partnership with Teagasc, NUIG, TCD and DCU with funding from the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine.
